Alright you guys, I know some of you are doing your first Whole30 and you’re thinking IT’S SO HARD. I promise, it gets easier…. but lets be honest, eating out and/or traveling on Whole30 can be less than exciting. The looks you get when you tell the waiter what you can’t eat indicate they would rather you dine at home. Yes… I know, just tell me what kind of oil you cook your food in, please.
How I would describe myself: I’m fiercely independent. I thrive on change. Routine bores me. I can live anywhere, without a place to call home and feel content. I don’t need stability. I love being busy. I don’t like quiet. Familiar is boring.
You guys, I’ve been reading Present over Perfect and I don’t think I’ve ever related to book more in my life. These last 2 months of deployment have been harder than I could have ever imagined. Not because of the job or because I’m forever away from friends and family, but because I’ve had time to rest and to face what I’ve been avoiding for the last two years of my life.
