Since I’ve read Gretchen Rubin’s book Better Than Before, I’ve become fascinated by peoples habits, specifically in regards to helping people with their nutrition goals.
A couple of weeks ago I went to Austin and it was by far my best trip I’ve taken there. I went to visit my friend who loves everything I do… so that makes every trip better, right? Our schedule went something like this: Coffee, eat Paleo-ish, work out, hike, peruse bookstores for hours, then fall fast asleep before midnight. I know, I’m like 70, but I had so much fun. The only thing we missed was paddle boarding, which you should totally do if you’re there.
Alright you guys, I know some of you are doing your first Whole30 and you’re thinking IT’S SO HARD. I promise, it gets easier…. but lets be honest, eating out and/or traveling on Whole30 can be less than exciting. The looks you get when you tell the waiter what you can’t eat indicate they would rather you dine at home. Yes… I know, just tell me what kind of oil you cook your food in, please.
